BHCC appeared at this years event at the Bodensee by quite a few of its members: E71DX, DJ2MX, E73CQ, 9A1TT, E77DX, DL4CC, DJ0AH, DK6XZ, N3UA, DK8ZZ. The other part of us planning to come to FN needed unfortunately to cancel the trip to Germany just short before. A pitty. Two presentations at the Contest Forum have been made by BHCC members ( V55V by DK6XZ & E7DX by E77DX ) and a very fine International Contester Meeting was taking place in Pfronten ( @DJ0AH ).

DXpedition Namibia 2012 for the CQ WW WPX Phone Contest was an effort made by a German M/2 crew. Two big Rhombic antennas ( L=4x160m @24m ), one for EU and one for USA, and a small one for EU ( L=80m @24m ) are main characterics and specificum of a very competitive station of Martin V51W. ARRL CW weekend was not to be a contest weekend for Darko. EU "pressure" was too strong, so he tourned back to the "normal" operation. A very high level of local noise generated by telecom devices on the hotel roof and by power lines are combined with hard QRM on frequencies all the time.

The vertical antenna on top of the hotel, middle in the city, is a collector of power line noise. 40 m was extremely difficult to work on due to this interferences. It is generally hard to copy the signals, at the other bands as well. So help Darko be more effective by using proper operation techniques. Call once.

Darko E70A/J28AA have made some 1500 QSO`s at Monday afternoon as 6O3A, appearing first on 15 m. The demonstration to the officials was very successful he said. This morining he was looking for a good location in the city Hargeisa to erect the antennas and establish the first Somaliland clubstation 6O3SL ( SL=SomaliLand ). The station will be equipped with a donated Icom IC-735 and wire antennas. We will keep you informed. Stay tuned.

Ivek E73W is awarded with a plaque for the 1st place Europe entering as Single Operator 21 MHz High Power. Ivo E73A operated San Marino clubstation T70A to the great European place 4 in Single Op All Band. E73M & E7DX M/S crews were despite their tight fight and scores with over 10 Million points unfortunately not able to show up in EU Top-Boxes.

E7HQ & BHCC Meeting was happening on mountain Kozara ( ~800 m asl ), near the city of Prijedor. In the same time, May 6-8 2011, the operators of BHCC have activated the National Park Kozara ( E7FF-02 ) within the program of WFF - World of Flora & Fauna, using the call sign E70WFF. SOTA activation of "Mrakovica" was another part of the activity.

U americkom "CQ Magazine" su objavljeni zvanicni rezultati CW WPX CW Contesta koje ovdje prezentiramo u kopiji. Emil E71A, koji je "za dlaku" izgubio titulu prvaka svijeta u SSB dijelu istoimenog takmicenja, ovoga puta ipak osvaja i plaketu za najveci svjetski plasman. "Heilig-Dreikönigs-Treffen des Bavarian Contest Clubs in Linden" koji je okupio preko 160 kontestera iz DL, OE, OK, PA i evtl. drugih zemalja je ugostio i Ranka 4O3A koji je tom prilikom odrzao interesantno predavanje na temu "Modern contest station developed by 4O3A" - vidi link nize. Na stranici organizatora, RDXC.ORG su bjavljeni preliminarni rezultati ovog, posebno u Europi, veoma priznatog takmicenja. Stanice iz E7 su ostvarile nekoliko veoma znacajnih plasmana unutar veoma jake konkurencije.
BHCC, za koji su skorovne bodove prijavili E7DX, E73Y, E74AA, E73W, E71A, E74IW i E74A, je pozicioniran na 8 mjesto svjetskog rankinga. Inace, u konkurenciji od ukupno 62 kluba, region je pretstavljan jos sa CRO-CC (#6), SLO-CC (#11) i YU-CC (#18).

BiH prvi put na HST Sampionatu IARU-a

High Speed Telegraphy stoji za HST. Takmicarske disipline u brzoj telegrafiji su: prijem grupa ( od po 5 ) slova, brojeva i mijesanog teksta, te predaja pomenutih grupa ( elektronskim ) tasterom. To su klasicne discipline. Tzv. radioamaterske discipline su pile-up simulacije, RUFz i Morse Runner.
Dva clana BHCC su ove godine ucestvovali na sampionatu regiona 1. Nadamo se da ce nas biti vise sljedece godine u Bielefeld-u, Njemacka.

Ucesce odlicnih EU contestera i masivnost takmicenja osiguravaju pravo zadovoljstvo kod ucesca. Top operatori u 12-satnom takmicenju ostvaruju do 1700 QSO-a!!
